Description
Tesamorelin is a synthetic polypeptide analog of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH), composed of 44 amino acids with modifications at the N-terminus. Research suggests it acts on GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary, stimulating GH and IGF-1 production. It has been studied in metabolic research related to fat distribution and energy balance.
As an analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone, Tesamorelin binds with the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptors of the anterior pituitary gland, thus stimulating the secretion of growth hormone.
